What sort of output does DocJet produce?
DocJet can produce HTML, HTMLHelp, Microsoft Help 2, and Microsoft Word output.
HTML
The HTML that DocJet produces Cascading Stylesheets and JavaScript. The output
will work under NN 4.72 and IE 5.5 and later, but works best with the latest versions
of the NetScape and Microsoft browsers.
The HTMLHelp output can be integrated with the MSDN help in Visual Studio 6
and the Microsoft Help 2 output can be integrated with Visual Studio .Net.
Printable Output
The Microsoft Word output is intended for users who need to produce a hard-copy
of the documentation. DocJet's output is not like that of most other documentation
generators. DocJet's output is really just a fragment of a Word Document, not the
document itself. You construct a "Master Document" that includes the DocJet output.
This master document is where you can define things like page headings, table of
contents, an index, preface, legal disclaimers, etc.
From your Word Document, you can not only print to paper, but also to PDF if you
have Adobe Acrobat Distiller or GhostScript.
